This project investigates how behavior emerges from the interaction of neural activity, body, and environment in vertebrates. It utilizes advanced neuroimaging techniques to study the neural circuits of larval zebrafish during active behavior in virtual reality scenarios.
A major challenge in cognitive neuroscience is to understand how behaviour arises from the dynamical interaction of an organism’s nervous system, its body, and its environment.
