DIGIT-M-ED explores the impact of digital media on youth through interdisciplinary research. It focuses on how young people in urban areas use digital technologies for video data, aiming to develop innovative methodologies for cross-cultural studies.
The exchange concerns the social, cultural, media-analytical and educational-psychological dimensions of digital media practices with a focus on the devices that are used for capturing, editing and circulating video data. DIGIT-M-ED applies inter-disciplinary perspectives and knowledge to analyse how the use of digital technologies is shaped by and shapes today’s global youth.
