This project aims to prevent diabetic cardiomyopathy by investigating microvascular mechanisms using a transgenic pig model. It focuses on identifying therapeutic targets to reduce microvascular damage and improve heart function in diabetic patients, potentially enhancing treatment outcomes for cardiac diseases.
