DIAG PANTOGRAPH focuses on developing a diagnostic system for train pantographs, enhancing reliability and reducing maintenance costs. This innovative solution aims to improve the efficiency of low-speed trains, which constitute the majority of the European fleet.
A pantograph is an apparatus mounted on the roof of trains for collecting energy through contact with the overhead contact line.In Europe each year 5% of the running train fleet is affected by major faults on the overhead contact line,
