The IMMCEPTION 2 project focuses on developing a selective antagonist for the GPCRX receptor to treat asthma. By utilizing a new transgenic mouse model, the project aims to block this receptor, potentially leading to improved management of asthma symptoms in patients.
Asthma affects approximately 3% of the population and results in 1,000 daily deaths.
