The DEVELAGE project investigates the molecular pathways linking normal brain aging to Alzheimer’s Disease. By analyzing brain tissue, it aims to identify early indicators of neurodegeneration, potentially leading to interventions that can reverse or halt disease progression.
The increasing number of elderly people will have a major impact on the prevalence of age-related diseases, which will pose major challenges to keep health systems in Europe sustainable.
