DEMONIA aims to develop an innovative photoelectrocatalytic device for producing ammonia using solar energy. By utilizing new hybrid materials, this project seeks to create a sustainable, zero-carbon solution for fertilizer and energy storage, addressing global food and energy demands while reducing carbon emissions.
The growing world population is pressing on an increasing global food and energy demand, and simultaneously contributing to an unceasing rise in carbon dioxide emissions.
