This project aims to develop new imaging biomarkers for modeling dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia. Early stage researchers will create quantitative measures to better understand disease mechanisms, working closely with industry and academic experts.
Dementia constitutes a major burden on society, both in monetary costs and the suffering of patients and their relatives.
It comprises a number of diseases including Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and vascular dementia (VaD).
