DEMANES focuses on developing methods and tools for creating adaptive monitoring and control systems that can respond to changes in their environment and user needs. It aims to enhance smart urban transport, airports, and homes through advanced system design, simulation, and self-optimization capabilities.
Large scale societal challenges require large scale monitoring and control solutions.
Technological developments will make it possible to design and build these large systems.
