This project focuses on understanding acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) to identify new drug targets for therapy. It investigates the role of specific proteins in B cell development and aims to develop targeted treatments to improve outcomes for affected children.
Despite the vast improvements in survival, acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) remains one of the major causes of death in children.
The current combination chemotherapy causes acute and long-term toxicity.
