This research project focuses on deriving macroscopic equations from microscopic quantum models, addressing complex many-body problems. It combines methods from Quantum Field Theory and Quantum Statistical Mechanics to explore the properties of interacting quantum systems.
The derivation of macroscopic (effective) equations from microscopic considerations is a long-standing challenge of the mathematical analysis of many-body problems.
In this research proposal, we focus on the derivation of (linear or non-linear) kinetic and Hartree-type equations from microscopic quantum models.
