DECOMPACT is developing polymeric nanocapsules to deliver collagenase for treating scleroderma, a disease characterized by excessive collagen. These nanocapsules will protect the enzyme and release it upon exposure to UVA light, combining collagen degradation with anti-inflammatory effects.
