DATASTORIES investigates the role of planning and property data in urban development by engaging stakeholders across various sectors. It aims to enhance understanding of data's impact on decision-making and develop innovative methods to create narratives that reflect the complexities of data use in policy.
Planning and property data are the key evidence base for how cities are understood, planned and developed, informing public perception, guiding investments, and shaping policy.
Yet, little critical attention has been paid to planning and property data and their lifecycles, circulation, politics, power and use in policy and stakeholder decision-making.
