This project investigates how self-tracking technologies influence personal agency and meaning in everyday life. By examining the experiences of individuals in a highly digitized society, it aims to inform the development and regulation of technology for better societal outcomes.
Datafied living develops a communication-centric conceptual and empirical research agenda on the relationship between infrastructures for tracking of the self and forms of agency and meaning in datafied living.
