This project develops the T-Minus DART, a cost-effective vehicle for in-situ atmospheric experiments between 50 and 120 km. It aims to enhance Earth observation by supplementing satellite data with high-resolution measurements, benefiting researchers and local users.
The notion that a better understanding of the Earth system in terms of climate and space interaction is required for human well-being is recognized globally.
This requires more systematic observation of the Earth’s atmosphere system and Earth-space interaction at a resolution and accuracy that cannot always be provided through remote sensing.
