The project D4M (DEFORM) focuses on creating a new framework for designing disordered materials using data-driven methods. It aims to enhance material properties for applications in biomechanics and sports by leveraging advanced manufacturing techniques and machine learning.
With increasingly advanced manufacturing techniques, architected materials or metamaterials continue to gain popularity.
