This project develops a portable imaging cytometer for rapid detection of microorganisms in water. It combines advanced technologies to quantify harmful bacteria like Legionella and E. coli within hours, enhancing water safety monitoring.
The proposed project will deploy for the first time a new imaging cytometer platform capable of detecting minute quantity of micro-organisms in industrial and environmental waters.
