Cynthetica focuses on enhancing the productivity of cyanobacteria as a sustainable biotechnological platform. It develops two innovative tools: an anchor tool to stabilize membrane-bound enzymes and a capsule tool to encapsulate biosynthetic pathways, aiming to improve product yields for industrial applications.
Cyanobacteria are versatile photosynthetic organisms that have attracted interest as a sustainable biotechnological host chassis.
