This project investigates the use of cyanobacteria for restoring degraded dryland soils. It aims to understand the relationship between cyanobacteria's exopolysaccharides and soil properties to develop effective restoration strategies.
Frequent land degradation problems in drylands make necessary the adoption of effective and low cost restoration strategies for a sustainable development of these areas.
