This project analyzes the impact of cultural trauma on collective memory related to wars in Austria and Croatia. It examines how trauma shapes memory and group identity through a comparative study of social processes and memory transmission.
Following the theoretical framework of cultural trauma, this project's aim is to analyze the impact of trauma on collective memory of wars in Austria and Croatia, as well as the social processes through which such memory is produced, performed and maintained.
