This project focuses on creating innovative X-ray contrast agents that target active proteases for improved detection of cancer and cardiovascular diseases. By enhancing imaging techniques, it aims to provide more accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment options.
The major causes of death in the Western world are cardiovascular diseases and cancer.
More accurate detection of these diseases will improve clinical outcomes.
