The Zero-carbon Ship-to-Grid Optimizer project focuses on creating a system that allows electric ships to efficiently charge using wind energy from floating stations. The ship-to-grid (S2G) service enables bidirectional energy flow between wind energy conversion systems (WECS) and electric battery storage systems in electric ships (ESs) via floating charging stations.
