The Crystals4Skin project explores the use of nanocrystals for drug delivery through the skin, aiming to improve treatment for geriatric and cancer patients. By studying the interaction between nanocrystals and skin, the project seeks to innovate therapeutic approaches that enhance the effectiveness of medications.
Alternative drug delivery is one of the most promising solutions for an increasing number of geriatric and cancer patients heavily challenged by the oral route treatment.
Crystals4Skin project targets skin as a pathway for local/systemic therapeutics, bringing ground-breaking approach at the cutting edge of biotechnologies.
