This project investigates the effects of chiral biomolecules on their hydration shells and self-assembly. It employs advanced spectroscopy techniques to study the dynamics of hydration and the influence of chirality on molecular interactions.
Homochirality is one of the mysterious chemical benchmarks that is relevant to the origin of life.
