The FOREST 4.0 project aims to create a Centre of Excellence for monitoring and analyzing forest environments using artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. It focuses on data acquisition and innovation to enhance forestry management and support business development through research and startup incubation.
The overall objective of the FOREST 4.0 project is to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) to transform the forest environment monitoring, data acquisition, and analysis, and capture value from the collected data by implementing innovations based on artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT).
