This project investigates how increased social mobility and diversity affect creativity by examining the psychological impact of violating established mental frameworks. It aims to understand the relationship between this violation and creative thinking through a series of experiments focused on motivation.
One of the key outcomes of the recent economic and political transformations in Europe is that people are more and more mobile: they move countries, change professions and challenge old power relations.
In doing so, they increase the diversity and complexity of social structures to new heights.
