The COTTON project focuses on optimizing air traffic management by integrating advanced airspace configurations and trajectory-based operations. It aims to enhance capacity management processes, allowing for more flexible and efficient handling of air traffic.
Capacity Management proposed by SESAR 2020 is achieved by applying advanced airspace management processes materialised in the management of Dynamic Airspace Configurations (DAC) solution.
