This project focuses on developing hybrid nanostructures that utilize the spin properties of charge carriers for advanced nanoelectronic applications. It aims to enhance the understanding of electron spin dynamics and improve the performance of devices like quantum bits and fast switching elements.
The rapid development of novel nanoelectronic devices utilizing the spin degree of freedom of the charge carriers and thus reaching beyond the limitations of traditional semiconductor based technologies is one of the central issues in nowadays spintronics.
