Corticonics aims to understand the computational principles of the cerebral cortex to enhance brain function and cognition. The project focuses on developing technologies for brain-computer interfaces, enabling interaction with machines through thought and promoting recovery from neurological conditions.
Corticonics, echoing electronics, consists of abstracting salient features of cortical organization for use in the simulation of the cortex executing higher level brain functions.
Our final objective is to identify computational principles of the cerebral cortex underlying network dynamic patterns.
