This project aims to explore the role of upper motor neuron degeneration in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) to develop new therapeutic strategies. It focuses on understanding how this specific neuronal loss contributes to the disease's progression.
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is the most common adult-onset neurodegenerative disease of the motor system, with a prevalence of 2-3/100 000.
