This project aims to establish a roadmap for developing core technologies in 5G and beyond, enhancing Europe's technological sovereignty. By fostering collaboration between industry and academia, it seeks to promote innovation and create business opportunities in telecommunications and microelectronics.
In view of the importance of core technologies both for European sovereignty and for decreasing the dependence of European industry on American and Asian technologies in the smart networks and services domains, it is vital that Europe reinvents its strategy for developing core technologies for 5G and beyond.
