CompoLight addresses challenges in Rapid Manufacturing of lightweight metal parts by developing design rules, simulation software, and guidelines. The project aims to enhance the production process for various industries, including automotive and aerospace, while promoting the use of lightweight components.
The project proposes to solve identified shortcomings of Rapid Manufacturing (RM) by addressing five areas, all of which are related to design and production of lightweight metal parts.
