This project focuses on the development of advanced nanostructures using atomic layer deposition. It aims to create various nanocomposites for applications in photocatalysis and gas sensing, while also training the researcher in nanotechnology techniques.
During the fellowship, novel, beyond the-state-of-the-art complex nanostructures will be prepared by atomic layer deposition (ALD). ALD is based on successive, alternating surface controlled reactions from the gas phase to produce thin films in the nanometer range with perfect conformality, process controllability and precise control of film thickness.
