This project develops a novel photonic analog-to-digital converter to digitize ultra-wideband signals. By utilizing dual optical frequency combs, it aims to overcome limitations of current electronic converters, enhancing signal processing capabilities.
Modern information and communication technology has been propelling the rapid expansion of signal spectrum bandwidth towards the level of hundreds of GHz and even 1 Terahertz.
