Colorifix utilizes synthetic biology to revolutionize textile dyeing by using engineered microbes to produce colorants. This process significantly reduces water and energy consumption while eliminating toxic chemicals, aiming to make the fashion industry more sustainable.
The fashion industry is the second largest polluter in the world.
