COGNITWIN aims to integrate cognitive capabilities into existing process control systems. By leveraging data analytics and pattern recognition, the project seeks to develop a digital twin that can learn and adapt for improved predictive maintenance and operational efficiency.
While the concept of digitalisation and Industry 4.0 is making rapid inroads into the European manufacturing sector, there are several aspects that can be still incorporated into the system which can strengthen the goal of optimal process operations.
