This project investigates the corrosion mechanisms of friction stir welds in 7075 aluminum alloy. It aims to optimize welding processes, conduct mechanical and corrosion testing, and develop guidelines to enhance the corrosion resistance of these welds.
This project will seek to establish the corrosion mechanism of friction stir welds in 7075 alloy and develop technical solutions and guidelines for improving the corrosion resistance of FSW welds in 7075 alloy.
