This project develops a new approach to control system design using contracts, which are detailed specifications of component behavior. By ensuring modularity and scalability, this method aims to enhance the safety, efficiency, and reliability of complex systems like smart manufacturing and autonomous vehicles.
The expansion and performance improvement of our engineered systems have traditionally been achieved by increasing the level of automation, driven by advances in control system design.
