The CO2 Battery project develops a long-duration energy storage system using carbon dioxide as a working fluid. This innovative technology aims to efficiently store renewable energy, making it suitable for utilities and energy producers needing reliable storage solutions.
CO2 Battery is a Long Duration Energy Storage system based on a closed thermodynamic loop that uses CO2 as working fluid.
Thanks to the properties of carbon dioxide, the system allows to store energy efficiently and cost effectively.
