This project explores the application of String Theory to study condensed matter systems, focusing on the effects of defects in models related to superconductivity and quantum liquids. By analyzing these interactions, the research aims to provide insights into complex physical phenomena.
String Theory encodes a “holographic” dual description of the strong coupling regime of many Field Theories via the “AdS/CFT correspondence”.
