This project develops a non-invasive technology called transcranial ultrasound stimulation (TUS) to precisely modulate brain regions for treating neurological and psychiatric disorders. By integrating advanced imaging and control systems, it aims to enhance the effectiveness and safety of brain stimulation techniques.
We are joining forces across Europe to advance a new non-invasive technology – transcranial ultrasound stimulation (TUS) – to reversibly modulate brain regions with exquisite millimetre precision, even deep in the brain.
