CitInES aims to create a decision-making tool to improve energy efficiency in cities and industrial complexes. By modeling and optimizing energy systems, it helps users develop sustainable energy strategies that consider various energy sources and consumption patterns, ultimately reducing costs and emissions.
The overall objective of CitInES is to design and demonstrate a multi-scale multi-energy decision-making tool to optimise the energy efficiency of cities or large industrial complexes by enabling them to define sustainable, reliable and cost-effective long-term energy strategies.
