CITI-SENSE empowers citizens to engage in environmental governance through community-based monitoring and innovative Earth Observation applications. The project focuses on raising awareness, enhancing participation in environmental decisions, and providing feedback on citizen impact using low-cost monitoring devices.
CITI-SENSE will develop “citizens’ observatories” to empower citizens to contribute to and participate in environmental governance, to enable them to support and influence community and societal priorities and associated decision making.
