CIDoRa explores how youth radio stations can foster social cohesion and identity among diverse young audiences. By analyzing media practices and representations of diversity, the project aims to enhance journalists' engagement with cultural differences and improve the portrayal of ethnic diversity in media.
In times of increased mobility, urbanisation and sociocultural tensions, the way professional media as information providers and public watchdog present diversity has implications for social cohesion and for how young people perceive identity and society.
