This project focuses on developing new drug candidates for chronic pain management, addressing the limitations of current analgesics. It investigates a specific gene's role in pain sensitivity and aims to reposition existing drugs as effective pain relievers.
Chronic pain is one of the most significant unmet medical needs and health burdens in society today.
