This fellowship focuses on advanced training in chondrocyte biology and electrophysiology to understand osteoarthritis (OA). The project investigates ion channels and calcium signaling in OA chondrocytes, aiming to uncover mechanisms behind cartilage degeneration and inform new therapeutic strategies.
The aim of this fellowship is to provide the researcher with an advanced, multi-disciplinary training in chondrocyte biology, proteomics and electrophysiology in biomimetic models of osteoarthritis (OA).
