The CHESTER project aims to develop a versatile energy management system that integrates electricity and heat sectors. By utilizing a novel energy storage technology, it enables efficient storage and dispatch of renewable energy, enhancing flexibility and cost-effectiveness in energy supply.
The main objective of the CHESTER project is the development and validation of an innovative system that allows for energy management, storage and dispatchable supply of many different RES by combining the electricity sector with the heat sector.
