This project aims to enhance understanding of the early universe, specifically the Epoch of Reionization, through advanced simulations. It seeks to predict the characteristics of early cosmic structures and their observational signatures to guide future astronomical observations.
The Epoch of Reionization (EoR), which lasted through most of the first billion years after the Big Bang, is currently at the frontier of cosmological research.
During this epoch the first stars and galaxies formed, with profound effects on early cosmological structure formation.Our understanding of this important epoch remains fairly incomplete due to the scarcity of direct observational data.
