This project aims to develop new strains of bacteria that can convert methane into useful products like biopolymers. By isolating and genetically modifying methanotrophs, the research seeks to address greenhouse gas emissions while producing valuable chemicals.
This action aims to obtain new methanotroph strains able to transform methane into valuable user products, in particular the bio-polymer PHA and ectoine.
