This research aims to advance solid oxide fuel cell technology by developing a new type of metal-supported cell. It focuses on improving the materials and modeling techniques to enhance performance and durability, particularly under varying fuel conditions.
The presently proposed research project will be an integral part of the ongoing solid oxide fuel cell research at the Department of Energy Conversion and Storage in Technical University of Denmark (DTU Energy Conversion). DTU Energy Conversion is a world leader in research, development and commercialisation of solid oxide fuel cells. The third generation cell or metal-supported cell of DTU is currently at a more experimental stage.
